Is Equal Education a Right?

The purpose of this action project is to show how both men and women should have equal rights when it comes to education.

There are a lot of consequences if proper education is not given.

Explanation of where this falls on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs: Education falls into Maslow’s hierarchy of needs because everyone needs education, it is on his lowest part of the triangle after all. According to borgenproject.org, “not receiving an education can have major consequences on an individual’s voice. It can hinder the development of the skills necessary to represent oneself. “, “In many nations, education often determines employability.”, “Many individuals must resort to incredibly dangerous jobs just to make a living if they have limited education.”, “Children often rely on their parents when it comes to their own education; however, it can be quite difficult for a parent to assist their child if they never had access to education.”, “Ultimately, lacking access to a proper education puts an individual at risk of falling into the poverty trap.”

This means that both men and women are affected if they do not have a proper education, they are affected in all ways, from economically to emotionally, not having an education affects people in ways that we never thought it would.

What are the benefits of having a proper education?

The benefits are that if that person gets proper education, they are able to create more job opportunities for themselves, they are able to get a higher income, they improve the economy, and they develop problem-solving skills. This helps a lot because those job opportunities are a great help when it comes to someone’s economical status, it also helps improve the economy because according to Habitat for Humanity of Broward, “People who grew up poor but educated themselves have high chances to transform their lives, thus contributing to a decrease in society’s poverty rates. Education helps countries grow economically since it is about getting knowledge and being able to apply it wisely to our lives and, at the same time, improving other people’s lives. “ this is a good thing because many people think that education does not affect that many things, but it does in fact, it could affect a person’s economical status and it could also affect a persons so-called “class” because there are some people that have jobs like harvesters, they work very hard and they get paid very little, and they are not as educated.
